Denise Roche is the director of the professional performer’s union Equity New Zealand. She has qualifications in journalism, industrial relations and not-for-profit management and she has served as an elected representative at local government level and as a Member of Parliament for the Green Party. Her experience in the union movement spans more than two decades as a union organiser, advocate, educator, and strategist for a number of New Zealand trade unions.
